How to Calculate Your Rational Thought Number
Use the first name from your full name at birth. Convert every letter of that first name to its Pythagorean value and add the values together. Then add your Birthday Number — the day of the month on which you were born — and reduce the total. Example: THOMAS = 22/4; if the Birthday Number is 3, 4 + 3 = 7, giving Rational Thought 7. This calculation is not the same as reducing the day of birth by itself.

Is Rational Thought the same as the Birthday Number?
No. The Birthday Number is one component of the calculation; Rational Thought also includes the numerical value of the first name at birth.
Are 11, 22, 33 and karmic compounds standard Rational Thought values?
Conventions vary. Hans Decoz’s materials clearly support 1–9 and discuss 11 and 22, while 33 and karmic compound variants are best labeled as site-specific extensions.
