What Is a Personal Year in Numerology?
The Personal Year is one of numerology’s forecasting numbers. It changes each calendar year and is read as the prevailing atmosphere of the period. Across the nine-year cycle, the emphasis moves from beginnings to relationship, expression, structure, change, responsibility, reflection, achievement and finally closure.

How Do You Calculate Your Personal Year?
Combine the day and month of birth with the current calendar year, then reduce according to the convention used by your numerological system. Some schools reduce all totals to 1–9, while others preserve selected Master Numbers (11, 22, 33) or Karmic Debt numbers (13, 14, 16, 19) when they arise at an intermediate stage.
The source system used for this series treats the Personal Year as a calendar-year cycle running from 1 January to 31 December. Other numerologists use a birthday-to-birthday convention, so consistency matters when comparing interpretations.
